The difference between Affirmative and Negative

When used as interjections, affirmative means an elaborate synonym for the word yes, whereas negative means .}}.

When used as nouns, affirmative means yes, whereas negative means refusal or withholding of assents.

When used as adjectives, affirmative means pertaining to truth, whereas negative means not positive or neutral.
