The difference between Aboriginal and First

When used as nouns, aboriginal means an animal or plant native to a region, whereas first means the person or thing in the first position.

When used as adjectives, aboriginal means first according to historical or scientific records, whereas first means preceding all others of a series or kind.


First is also adverb with the meaning: before anything else.
