The difference between Vault and Vaulting table
When used as nouns, vault means an arched masonry structure supporting and forming a ceiling, whether freestanding or forming part of a larger building, whereas vaulting table means an apparatus featuring a flat, large, and cushioned surface almost parallel to the floor sloping downward at the end closest to the springboard.
