The difference between Thing and Yoke

When used as nouns, thing means that which is considered to exist as a separate entity, object, quality or concept, whereas yoke means a bar or frame of wood by which two oxen or other draught animals are joined at the heads or necks enabling them to pull a plough, cart etc.

When used as verbs, thing means to express as a thing, whereas yoke means to link or to join.
