The difference between Therian and Therianthrope

When used as nouns, therian means any member of the taxonomic subclass theria, the placental and marsupial mammals, whereas therianthrope means any mythical being which is part human, part animal.


Therian is also adjective with the meaning: of or pertaining to the taxonomic subclass theria.
