The difference between Sparkling and Twinkling

When used as nouns, sparkling means act or appearance of something that sparkles, whereas twinkling means a shining with fast intermittent light.

When used as adjectives, sparkling means of an object, reflecting light as if giving off tiny sparks, whereas twinkling means sparkling intermittently.
