The difference between Refined and Well-mannered
When used as adjectives, refined means sagacious, sometimes oversubtle or feigning sagacity, whereas well-mannered means having good manners.
Refined is also noun with the meaning: the refined form of a commodity, as opposed to its raw or generic form.
