The difference between Record and Wax

When used as nouns, record means an item of information put into a temporary or permanent physical medium, whereas wax means beeswax.

When used as verbs, record means to make a record of information, whereas wax means to apply wax to (something, such as a shoe, a floor, a car, or an apple), usually to make it shiny.
