The difference between Pretty and Ugly
When used as nouns, pretty means a pretty person, whereas ugly means ugliness.
When used as verbs, pretty means to make pretty, whereas ugly means to make ugly (sometimes with up).
When used as adjectives, pretty means pleasant in sight or other senses, whereas ugly means displeasing to the eye.
