The difference between Postmodern and Premodern

When used as adjectives, postmodern means of, relating to, or having the characteristics of postmodernism, especially as represented in art, architecture, literature, science, or philosophy that reacts against an earlier modernism, whereas premodern means preceding or predating the modern era.


Postmodern is also noun with the meaning: a postmodernist.
