The difference between Polyglot and Trilingual

When used as nouns, polyglot means one who masters, notably speaks, several languages, whereas trilingual means a trilingual person.

When used as adjectives, polyglot means versed in, or speaking, many languages, whereas trilingual means able to read or speak three languages.
