The difference between Platform and Sidewalk
When used as nouns, platform means a raised stage from which speeches are made and on which musical and other performances are made, whereas sidewalk means a footpath, usually paved, at the side of a road for the use of pedestrians.
Platform is also verb with the meaning: to furnish with or shape into a platform.
