The difference between Physician and Veterinarian
When used as nouns, physician means a practitioner of physic, i.e. a specialist in internal medicine, especially as opposed to a surgeon, whereas veterinarian means a medical doctor who treats animals.
Veterinarian is also adjective with the meaning: veterinary.
