The difference between Perpendicular and Sheer

When used as nouns, perpendicular means a line or plane that is perpendicular to another, whereas sheer means a sheer curtain or fabric.

When used as adjectives, perpendicular means at or forming a right angle (to something), whereas sheer means very thin or transparent.
