The difference between Overside and Underside

When used as nouns, overside means the side facing up or positioned above, whereas underside means the side that is below or underneath, the bottom.


Overside is also adverb with the meaning: over the side.

Overside is also adjective with the meaning: located or positioned over the side, especially of a ship.
