The difference between Otherworldly and Worldly

When used as adjectives, otherworldly means of, concerned with, or preoccupied with a different world than that of the tangible here and now, such as a heavenly, spiritual, or imaginary world, whereas worldly means concerned with human or earthly matters, physical as opposed to spiritual.


Worldly is also adverb with the meaning: in a worldly manner.
