The difference between Obfuscate and Obscure

When used as verbs, obfuscate means to make dark, whereas obscure means to render obscure.

When used as adjectives, obfuscate means obfuscated, whereas obscure means dark, faint or indistinct.

To deliberately make more confusing in order to conceal the truth.
