The difference between Number and Paucal
When used as nouns, number means an abstract entity used to describe quantity, whereas paucal means a language form referring to a few of something (three to around ten), as a small group of people.
Number is also verb with the meaning: to label (items) with numbers.
Paucal is also adjective with the meaning: characterized by having a small number, greater than two, of (usually equivalent) components.
