The difference between Nucleobase and Thymine
When used as nouns, nucleobase means the base of a nucleic acid, such as thymine, uracil, adenine, cytosine and guanine, whereas thymine means a heterocyclic base, 5-methylpyrimidine-2,4(1h,3h)-dione.
