The difference between Normal and Standard

When used as nouns, normal means a line or vector that is perpendicular to another line, surface, or plane, whereas standard means a principle or example or measure used for comparison. a level of quality or attainment. something used as a measure for comparative evaluations.

When used as adjectives, normal means according to norms or rules, whereas standard means falling within an accepted range of size, amount, power, quality, etc.
