The difference between Nonnegative and Nonvanishing
When used as adjectives, nonnegative means (of a quantity) not negative, whereas nonvanishing means (of a quantity) that is nonzero at all points in a space.
Nonnegative is also noun with the meaning: any value that is not negative.
