The difference between Night and Sundown
When used as nouns, night means the period between sunset and sunrise, when a location faces far away from the sun, thus when the sky is dark, whereas sundown means sunset.
When used as verbs, night means to spend a night (in a place), to overnight, whereas sundown means to experience an episode or an onset of some detrimental mental condition like agitation, anxiety, hallucination or dementia, daily at nightfall.
