The difference between Name and Term

When used as nouns, name means any nounal word or phrase which indicates a particular person, place, class, or thing, whereas term means limitation, restriction or regulation.

When used as verbs, name means to give a name to, whereas term means to phrase a certain way.

Term is also adjective with the meaning: born or delivered at term.
