The difference between Metal and Nonmetal

When used as nouns, metal means any of a number of chemical elements in the periodic table that form a metallic bond with other metal atoms, whereas nonmetal means an element, such as phosphorus or chlorine, that does not have the chemical or physical properties of a metal.


Metal is also verb with the meaning: to make a road using crushed rock, stones etc.
