The difference between Measure and Positive measure
When used as nouns, measure means moderation, temperance, whereas positive measure means a function whose domain is a σ-algebra, whose codomain is [0,∞], and which is countably additive.
Measure is also verb with the meaning: to ascertain the quantity of a unit of material via calculated comparison with respect to a standard.
