The difference between Language and Parlance

When used as nouns, language means a body of words, and set of methods of combining them (called a grammar), understood by a community and used as a form of communication, whereas parlance means a certain way of speaking, of using words, especially when it comes to those with a particular job or interest.

Language is also verb with the meaning: to communicate by language.
