The difference between Journey and Travel
When used as nouns, journey means a set amount of travelling, seen as a single unit, whereas travel means the act of traveling.
When used as verbs, journey means to travel, to make a trip or voyage, whereas travel means to be on a journey, often for pleasure or business and with luggage.
