The difference between Idle and Lazy
When used as nouns, idle means an idle animation, whereas lazy means a lazy person.
When used as verbs, idle means to spend in idleness, whereas lazy means to laze, act in a lazy manner.
When used as adjectives, idle means empty, vacant, whereas lazy means unwilling to do work or make an effort.
