The difference between Idioticon and Vocabulary
When used as nouns, idioticon means a dictionary of a peculiar dialect, or of the words and phrases peculiar to one part of a country, whereas vocabulary means a usually alphabetized and explained collection of words e.g. of a particular field, or prepared for a specific purpose, often for learning.
