The difference between Hip and Hip-hop
When used as nouns, hip means the outward-projecting parts of the pelvis and top of the femur and the overlying tissue, whereas hip-hop means an afro-american urban youth culture based on rap music, breakdancing etc.
Hip is also verb with the meaning: to use one's hips to bump into someone.
