The difference between High-rise and Low-rise

When used as nouns, high-rise means a tall building, one of many stories, whereas low-rise means a building of no more than a few stories.

When used as adjectives, high-rise means of clothing: designed to sit high on, or above, the wearer's hips, whereas low-rise means of lower-body clothing: whose waistline does not reach the waist, but hangs along the hips.
