The difference between Habitually and Normally

When used as adverbs, habitually means by habit, whereas normally means under normal conditions or circumstances.

Habitually as an adverb:

By habit; in a habitual manner.

Examples:

"He is habitually inattentive of time."
Habitually as an adverb:

Occurring regularly or usually.

Examples:

"Professor Franklein is habitually pessimistic''."

Normally as an adverb:

Under normal conditions or circumstances; usually; most of the time

Examples:

"Normally, I eat breakfast at 6am, but today, I got up late and didn't eat until 9."

In the expected or customary manner.
