The difference between Goulash and Paprika
When used as nouns, goulash means a stew of beef or veal and vegetables, flavoured with paprika, whereas paprika means powdered spice made from dried and ground fruits of sweet pepper (bell pepper) or chili pepper (cultivars of capsicum annuum), or mixtures of these (used especially in hungarian cooking).
Paprika is also adjective with the meaning: of a bright reddish orange colour, like that of the dried paprika.
