The difference between Fundamental and Radical

When used as nouns, fundamental means a leading or primary principle, rule, law, or article, which serves as the groundwork of a system, whereas radical means a member of the most progressive wing of the liberal party.

When used as adjectives, fundamental means pertaining to the foundation or basis, whereas radical means favoring fundamental change, or change at the root cause of a matter.
