The difference between Fun and Pleasure

When used as nouns, fun means amusement, enjoyment or pleasure, whereas pleasure means a state of being pleased or contented.

When used as verbs, fun means to tease, kid, poke fun at, make fun of, whereas pleasure means to give or afford pleasure to.


Fun is also adjective with the meaning: enjoyable, amusing.
