The difference between Fixed and Mobile

When used as adjectives, fixed means not changing, not able to be changed, staying the same, whereas mobile means capable of being moved, especially on wheels.


Mobile is also noun with the meaning: a kinetic sculpture or decorative arrangement made of items hanging so that they can move independently from each other.
