The difference between Fatal and Mortal

When used as nouns, fatal means a fatality, whereas mortal means a human.

When used as adjectives, fatal means proceeding from, or appointed by, fate or destiny, whereas mortal means susceptible to death by aging, sickness, injury, or wound.
