The difference between Extent and Scope
When used as nouns, extent means a range of values or locations, whereas scope means the breadth, depth or reach of a subject.
Extent is also adjective with the meaning: extended.
Scope is also verb with the meaning: to perform a cursory investigation, as to scope out.
