The difference between Exhibit and Exhibition

When used as nouns, exhibit means an instance of exhibiting, whereas exhibition means an instance of exhibiting, or something exhibited.


Exhibit is also verb with the meaning: to display or show (something) for others to see, especially at an exhibition or contest.
