The difference between Even so and Though

When used as adverbs, even so means in spite of the preceding remark or facts, whereas though means despite that.


Though is also conjunction with the meaning: despite the fact that.

    Despite that; however.

    Examples:

    "I will do it, though."

    Used to intensify statements or questions; indeed.

    "Man, it's hot in here." — "Isn't it, though?"
