The difference between Error and Mistake
When used as nouns, error means the state, quality, or condition of being wrong, whereas mistake means an error.
When used as verbs, error means to function improperly due to an error, especially accompanied by error message, whereas mistake means to understand wrongly, taking one thing or person for another.
