The difference between Equivocal and Vague

When used as nouns, equivocal means a word or expression capable of different meanings, whereas vague means a wandering.

When used as adjectives, equivocal means having two or more equally applicable meanings, whereas vague means not clearly expressed.


Vague is also verb with the meaning: to wander.
