The difference between Drink and Gulp

When used as nouns, drink means a beverage, whereas gulp means the usual amount swallowed.

When used as verbs, drink means to consume (a liquid) through the mouth, whereas gulp means to swallow eagerly, or in large draughts.

Gulp is also interjection with the meaning: indication of an involuntary fear reaction.
