The difference between Downstage and Stage right

When used as nouns, downstage means the part of a stage that is closest to the audience or camera, whereas stage right means the area to the right of the stage when looking towards the audience.

When used as adverbs, downstage means toward or at the front of a theatrical stage, whereas stage right means located at stage right.
