The difference between Double standard and Hypocrite
When used as nouns, double standard means the situation of two or more groups, one of which is tacitly excused from following a standard generally regarded as applying to all groups, or contrariwise, forced to follow a standard others are tacitly excused from, whereas hypocrite means someone who practices hypocrisy, who pretends to hold beliefs, or whose actions are not consistent with their claimed beliefs.
