The difference between Disintegrate and Dissolve
When used as verbs, disintegrate means to undo the integrity of, break into parts, whereas dissolve means to terminate a union of multiple members actively, as by disbanding.
Dissolve is also noun with the meaning: a form of film punctuation in which there is a gradual transition from one scene to the next.
