The difference between Disdainable and Respectable
When used as adjectives, disdainable means able to be disdained, whereas respectable means deserving respect.

Able to be disdained; subject to disdain.

Respectable as an adjective:
Deserving respect.
Examples:
"His accomplishments, morals, loyalty, and stature make him a respectable person."
