The difference between Diffuse and Spread out
When used as verbs, diffuse means to spread over or through as in air, water, or other matter, especially by fluid motion or passive means, whereas spread out means become further apart.
When used as adjectives, diffuse means everywhere or throughout everything, whereas spread out means far apart, not close to each other - far apart, extended over an expanse of space or time.
