The difference between Detectable and Subdetectable
When used as adjectives, detectable means that which can be detected, noticeable, whereas subdetectable means less (in amount) than can be detected.

That which can be detected, noticeable.
Examples:
"There was a detectable pause before he continued. We all noticed it but no one commented."
