The difference between Detect and Find
When used as verbs, detect means to discover or find by careful search, examination, or probing, whereas find means to encounter or discover by accident.
Detect is also adjective with the meaning: detected.
Find is also noun with the meaning: anything that is found (usually valuable), as objects on an archeological site or a person with talent.
